- 1. What is your favorite music genre?
- Liturgical music - especially compositions by Mokranjac.
- 2. What do you enjoy most about that genre?
- The music is moving and dynamic if sung correctly...
- 3.What choral music experience do you have?
- Aside from being a St. Sava choir member for 35 yrs, I sang in school choirs as well.
- 4.Why do you enjoy singing?
- Singing is a great stress reliever and can be quite spiritual. However, simply put, it is fun.
- 5. When did you first start singing?
- I joined the St. Sava Junior choir probably before becoming a teenager, and aside from that,
at the time I was singing in my band, Lika Orchestra.
- 6. How did you start performing vocally?
- In public school, I took music which involved singing in the choirs.
- 7. What has your musical experience done for you?
- It has brought great joy both from singing and listening to music, but also from meeting such great
people along the way who share the same love of music.
- 8. What ideas do you have to make the choir St. Sava more professional and more attractive
- No ideas at this time….
- 9. What is your most memorable experience since you have been with St. Sava Choir.
- ( our anniversary concert, trip to Cleveland etc.... )
Singing as honoured guest choir at the S.S.F. Festival in 2002.
- 10. What do you think our choir should do in order make true the idea of going to Serbia and visiting our monasteries.
- Find sponsors that are willing to fund the choir specifically for the trip.
