Nikola Manojlovich made decision to quit his position as St. Sava choir director. We thank him for what he has done in his role as director of our choir…he made many sacrifices to be there for us and as a result we have greatly matured in our singing under his careful direction over the last 8 or so years. Our community has also greatly benefited. Thanks for everything Nikola! Nikola knows that he is most welcome to come and sing with us at any time…and I hope that eventually he will be singing with us at Liturgies.
The executive board prepared an offer to Janez Govednik which was in line with what the membership agreed to at our meeting on July 11. He responded positively and accepted the position of Director. Based on this, we will restart our rehearsals August 1, 2005 with our new director.
We will now have to accelerate our plans for our annual concert and trip to Cleveland.
We expect to be very busy with organizing the details and very busy learning material, especially for our trip to Cleveland where we will have to appear twice on their program.
Let's keep in mind the following:
Thank you
John Lukich
(with the choir executive board)

Here you can read the breaking news and first reactions:
Angelina ( our soprano )and Danilo are proud parents of Milos who was born on July 13, 2005 at 9:28 p.m. weighing in 8 lbs (3.56 kgs). Baby and mum are doing fine - we tested him and he is qulified for the base section.
Let’s welcome future choir member Milos…..Way to go Angelina (and Danilo)!!!
If Milos has a good voice, he should be in tenor section, not base section.
Congratulations Angelina and Danilo. I wish you many joyous moments with your son.
As you may already know, Milos Racic (junior) arrived to this world on Wed July 13 @ 9:28 p.m. He is doing great and makes mama & tata very tired! :)) Thanks for many e-mails and phone calls with warm wishes from all of you - we will return them as soon as we have some time.
